Vaccines or Infections

Effective Pet Vaccination

Treat Infection

Suspect your pet of having an allergy or infection? I can thoroughly test and treat your dog, cat, bunny, guinea pig, or bird.

Vaccinate for Safety

Position your pet for a lifetime of good health with regular vaccinations. Protect them against distemper, rabies, and Lyme disease, among others.

Schedule for Success

I recommend that puppies have 3 distemper, rabies, and 2 Lyme disease shots by 16 weeks. After 2 years of age, your pup should be on a regular rolling schedule.

Drop for Cat

Have Confidence

Your pet is a treasured presence in your life. We understand the importance of a careful and a compassionate medical treatment for your furry or feathered friend.

Follow Up

Care does not end with vaccinations and infection treatment. Put your pet on the books for regular wellness examinations to secure a long, healthy, and happy life.

Here's How the Rolling Vaccine Schedule Should Work for Your Dog:

  • By 2 years of age: Lyme and distemper
  • By 3 years of age: Lyme and heartworm test
  • By 4 years of age: Lyme and rabies
  • Heartworm preventative medicine all year round
Once your dog is over 3 years old, it's a good idea to get it vaccinated for rabies. Research proves that your dog or cat will need distemper shots every 3 years.

What to Do When Your Pet Has a Skin Allergy or an Infection

Your bundle of joy has probably inhaled allergens such as dust mites, grasses, molds, and tree and weed pollens. The other possibilities are that your pet either has a food allergy or came into contact with irritants that have a negative effect on its skin.

Whatever the cause, I will figure it out. I will find out what is causing your pet's distress through blood tests and treat them with injections. If it is a flea problem that your pet is suffering from, I will give you sound advice on the best course of treatment.

Other Recommendations for Your Dog

The Kennel Cough vaccine is advisable if your dog requires regular grooming or if you leave him at kennels or day care centers on a regular basis. The K9 influenza vaccine is not recommended in the East Freetown area.
